Men's XC 4th at MCCAA Western Conference Meet

The KCC men's cross country team team ran on a hard, technical and very hilly course for the MCCAA Western Conference Meet on Friday, September 26. The temperature was hot for this time of the year to add to the difficult race course today.

Overall, the team finished 4 of 6 teams. The times did not reflect the effort of the runners on this course. In fact, the overall times for the entire field was probably 1minute, 45 seconds slow. Sophomore Julian Borst ran a gutsy race, finishing 4th in this MCCAA Western Conference race. His place earned him All-Conference honors. Another gutsy race was had by Freshman Ezra McCarty. The only Personal Record (PR) captured for the day was Freshman Adrian Sanglyen. He exploded his past PR by 1:31 which was impressive in the race conditions.

Times:

We are looking forward to the Bruins' next race, in hopefully cooler temperatures, as they run at the Muskegon Jayhawk invite in two weeks.
