Men's XC at Jayhawk Invite

The Kellogg Community College men's cross country team competed in the Jayhawk Invite on October 11th. There was a lot to celebrate today in Muskegon.

Sophomore Julian Borst (Loy Norrix HS) again led the Bruins. Finishing 17^th among JUCO runners in a race that featured 6 NJCAA DII ranked team in the field.  Freshman Jonah Bills (BC Lakeview HS) catapulted to the fifth fastest runner in KCC history with an impressive 27:45 time on the 8K course. Other Personal Records (PRs) on the day included Freshman Elloit Ormsby (BC Lakeview HS) at 31:54, Freshman Ezra McCarty (BC Lakeview HS) at 33:18, and Freshman Adrian Sanglyen (BC Lakeview HS) at 33:20. Another notable finish, coming off a season long injury, was Freshman Nick Cabrera (Portage Central HS) with a time of 34:17.
