BATTLE CREEK – First year head coach James Moore and the Kellogg Community College women's basketball program have announced the schedule and roster for the upcoming 2025-26 season.  The Bruins are set to play 28 regular season games, including 26 against Region XII opponents, 14 as part of MCCAA action and 13 games at home.

The women's basketball team returns seven players and brings in six new faces. Leading the returners for the Bruins are All-American guard Kaylee Glidden who was named Third Team All-America, All-Region, All-MCCAA, All-Western Conference, and All-Freshman team in the 2023-24 season, and All-Region forward Dayshauna Crowley who was named All-Region, All-MCCAA, All-Western Conference, and All-Freshman team last season. Other notable returns are forwards Alyssa McCavit and Miriam Hibbard, and guards Imani McCray, Samantha Atkinson, and Brailee Wood.

Newcomers for the Bruins will be led by center Emilia Henneman-Dallape as well as transfer guard Nia Baldwin, and freshmen guards Aiyana Willis and Haylie Kinney. Rounding out the freshman class are guards Norah VanWagner and Da'Nyah Sadler.

"I am fortunate to take on this new role with KCC Basketball, having spent the last three years with the men's program. I am looking forward to working with this great group of student athletes and getting to work on the court and in the classroom," said Coach Moore.  "The success of our season will depend on how soon we can come together as one, how willing we are to be coached and our desire to be a top rated and stingy defense."

The Bruins have already been working in the gym and participated in two scrimmages in October. Their 2025-26 campaign officially kicks off on Saturday, November 1 as the Bruins travel to Edison State Community College for a 1:00 pm tip-off.

The Bruins will play thirteen home game inside the Miller Physical Education Building gymnasium on KCC's North Avenue Campus this winter. The home opener will be on November 8th as the Bruins host Mott Community College at 1:00 pm.

Following the conclusion of the regular season on February 24th at home, the MCCAA Western Conference's top four seeds will head to the Great Lakes Districts A, B & C Tournaments March 5-8.
