The Kellogg Community College women's basketball team traveled to the University of Olivet on Nov. 11 and Kirtland CC on Nov. 14. The Bruins nabbed back to back victories!
Olivet | W, 69-62
Head Coach James Moore said, "We did a great job of getting our first win of the season. Every player that dressed played valuable minutes. We were led in points by Crowley and McCavit. Looking forward to our up north weekend trip as we continue to grow and learn to play consistent Bruin basketball."
Kirtland | W, 78-72
Head Coach James Moore said, "The lady Bruins gave up an early lead as they tried to find their footing. Towards the end of the 2nd quarter a team effort put us in striking range. In the 3rd quarter we found ourselves in foul trouble and went to a zone defense which cooled Kirtland off. We didn't look back and we hung on for the win."
Next up, Bruins travel to NCMC on Saturday with a 1:00pm tipoff. Next week they head to Delta on Tuesday, and host Jackson on Wednesday at 5:30pm.
