The Kellogg Community College women's basketball team traveled to Muskegon Community College on December 16. The Bruins battled with the Jayhawks, and fell in the close matchup.

Head Coach James Moore said, "After taking a small lead into half time the Lady Bruins were outscored in the third which proved to be the difference in the game. Once again we were led by Crowley and McCavit in scoring. We took away their two shooters as planned, but struggled to get second shot opportunities."
Next up, Bruins host North Central Michigan on Friday, December 19 with a 1:00pm tipoff.
