Women's XC Finishes 5th at Diemer Classic

The KCC women's cross country team team faced a tough field in today's race. However, all 6 runners for the Bruins improved their times from their last race.

Freshman Alicyn Gleesing (Gull Lake HS) led the Bruins with an impressive 20:47. Freshman Emma Taggett (Plainwell HS) improved her time from a race ago by 52 seconds with a 21:43. Freshman Elayna Guadamuz (Battle Creek Lakeview HS) met the qualifying time individually for the NJCAA National Championship with a 22:19 time. The highlight on the women's side was Sophomore Olivia Butler (Homer HS) with a new Personal Record (PR) time of 23:51.
