Soccer Wins Conference Opener

The Kellogg Community College soccer team traveled to Jackson College on Wednesday, September 3 to kick off conference play. The Bruins came home with a victory over the Jets!

Jackson | W, 2-1

Head Coach Levi Butcher said, "Today's trip to Jackson was a rematch of last year's Region XII Championship game. Much like our last meeting, we came away with the win, but it was a very different game this time around. Fast-paced and physical, just like the last meeting, but this one came at the beginning of the season as opposed to the end. The stakes weren't quite as high, but both teams certainly played like they wanted the three points. Fortunately, we came away on top and remain undefeated on the young season."

Next up, Bruins host their home opener against Ancilla College on Sunday, September 7 for a 3:00PM kickoff.
